el verano supper was hot, hot, hot!

We were excited that the weather gods graced chicago with beautiful day yesterday. It was a day that was brim full of great, light, summer fare and amazing company. One of the performers for the evening was Nancy Duran and she belted out some great Mexican tunes! The second performer was Diva Kai who plays folkish good times music! It was a magical experience as we all lingered under the Chicago clear summer sky with great new friends and wine flowing freely hearing great talent! It was one of those nights where you have to stop and think about how great it is to live in such a unique and fantastic city that has so much to offer! It definitely put a smile on my face and believe the feeling was mutual among the dining group!
